Hey Mike,

Welcome to the mailing list and the community.

Regarding Netrunner tournament, you do have to play both sides. Yeah, I
remember when I first started I was only inclined to playing runner. But
looking back at it, its actually a good idea from FFG to encourage you
playing both sides. Give the other side a few more tries and you will find
a faction you will die for, :) . German and English cards are allowed in
the tournaments (at least in Bern, it has been the case). I have very
limited German knowledge but all the players I met have been nice enough to
speak English to me, except when they accessed Snare! :) Joke aside, people
will be happy to translate the cards as they are played.

The registration page for Drachenachst is actually used to register for
various games, not just netrunner. In the case of netrunner, the team
option is not applicable.

My two cents would be: do join these events and don't be intimidated by the
term 'tournaments', it does initially sound intimidating having to play
within time limit etc, but it somehow adds to the excitement. Furthermore,
everyone I've played against have been really fun people. Secondly, try to
look for regular netrunner group in Bern (Bern people, help me out here).
That's the best way of learning/playing the game.

Hope that helps a little.
